My complaint:
On the 14th April 2020 I purchased a ticket for Morrisons car wash and took my car through the machine. During the wash cycle the brushes pulled my rear wiper up and down repeatedly breaking the wiper. I reported it immediately to the petrol station attendan twho did not know what to do but took my number and rang me later to go back in and fill out forms. She then did not process the forms. They were only processed two months later when I spoke to a store manager. The store manager told me to get two quotes and that Morrisons would go with the cheaper of the two. I supplied these only for Morrisons Insurers to deny all responsibility. I have been chasing this up for almost a year now and they are still denying responsibility and refuse to comment on the fact that their member of staff did not offer me a protective sleeve for my rear wiper (which I did not know existed at the time of the damage occurring) did not know how to deal with a complaint about the car wash and did not process the complaint forms once she did find out what to do.
Suggested solution:
They should apologise for all the stress and inconvenience they have caused me and pay for the damage.
And just like every on every other consumer site Morrisons have not responded here either. What a surprise!
Went through the car wash at morrisons kingwinsford store went through ok but when it started coming back it completely removed the rear spoiler of my discovery sport .
Reported matter sent info to morrisons head office LOW AND BEHOLD SILENCE .
Believe there is an issue with the equipment as it always seems to be the back end of cars that get damaged
