My complaint:
I am currently trying to get Mercari to issue a refund back to me that is now owed of $26.21 for Item ID m90131553165 for an item that was returned to a seller. The accountcard that was originally used is now closedcancelled. Mercari is telling me they are only able to refund back to the original form of payment. This is ridiculous for a big business to say. I have been in touch with the bank of the closed account at least three times. They cannot help me.
Suggested solution:
My refund of $26.21 given to me either through a check sent or sent to my balance on my profile. I'd be happy with a credit at this point if that's the only way to solve this. Mercari needs to improve their refund policy in lieu of situations like this.
