My complaint:
I phone Lufthansa to ask if there is a Lufthansa lounge where I can wait before my flight from Istanbul airport. to Germany. I have used lounges at other airports.where there is a private lounge with food. and drinks. For example, I paid $59 to to use a United Airlines lounge at Dulles Airport near Washington D.C. I am willing to pay to be in a comfortable seat in a private waiting area. The Lufthansa person did not seem to know what I was talking about and could not give me a price for using a lounge, if one even exists. I was on hold for a long time and did not get the information I wanted.
Suggested solution:
Train representatives to answer passenger questions. My question was not something that only a rocket scientist could answer. I expect other Lufthansa passengers might have similar questions
