My complaint:

My husband and son in law were both booked in to fly to Frankfurt en route to Cairo, then Jeddah as transit passengers only this morning ie. Monday 4th April 2022.

When we checked the Lufthansa check in webpage, it was updated on 28th March 2022 and said:

Transfer in Germany to a Non-Schengen Country:

Travelers who are just transiting in Germany to a Non-Schengen country (and are not leaving the airport) are not required to provide a COVID-19 related medical certificate.

Upon the check-in desk, the woman would just not have it despite showing proof that your own webpage says that no covid related medical certificate required.

She forced them to go and get a test done at extra cost and added stress and have now rejoined the long queue.
(They were at the airport at 5.10am to get on to the LH943 at 11.10am.)

Suggested solution:

They should sack the lady at the counter who screamed her lungs off refusing to accept their own guidelines and refund the cost and for added stress
