My complaint:

I purchased a kitchen range at Lowes 2 months ago, and it has still not been installed. The first time they brought the stove it was all dented up on both sides, then they had to reorder, the people they have coming to install are not at all dependable. They will claim to be there at a certain time but won’t be there for 2 hours after. I have had to take off from work for 2 days to have the stove installed and it still isn’t installed. Saturday the gentleman came but when it came time to connect the gas line he did not have the correct fitting, he wanted to put an old gas line on that he had in his truck and I refused to do that I had just purchased a new line, then he wanted to take off the shut off valve that is located behind the stove for insurance, safety, and gas company mandates that it be on there in case for emergencies. He wants to take it off, No that is not happening either, then he said he was leaving to go get piece but would be back in 2 hours. I have yet to hear from him. He did not call me back to let me know he wasn’t coming, that he had had issues or anything, I missed going to a family get together in order to be there all evening should he come back. When I contact Lowes I am told that they are contracted thru Lowes that they do not actually work for Lowes, well I will tell you Lowes is hiring them and their work is a reflection of what Lowes stands for. I called Sunday to let them know that I still did not have the stove connected and ask that I get my money back for both the stove and installation since I have nothing. I was told they would contact them on Monday and would get back to me, I still have not heard from anyone and it is now Tuesday. Lowes does not follow thru, you can’t trust anyone as of yet. I am very disappointed in the way I have been treated from Lowes.

Suggested solution:

Either get someone who can connect the stove correctly and get it done, or bring me my money for stove and installation and come and pick up the stove. I will not let the stove go though until I have the money, Lowes has lied to me so much lately that I can not trust them to get my money back to me
