My complaint:

Yesterday was shopping in the Hounslow branch around mid-day and approached by a lady who insisted i pay for an item in my basket which i never placed in there or even wanted, I’m not sure if it was in the basket before i took it or it fell from the shelf as i was walking around, but instead of asking me this lady who’s name was Russie and may i say not even in uniform kept telling me to pay for the unwanted item i kept trying to explain it isn’t mine but she was so rude and speaking over me and i got very cross with her and was shouting at her. I’m not sure if she understood what i was saying or was just ignoring me. But from the lack of her customer service skills which she clearly did not have any of she just was not allowing me to speak. This is of very low customer service and it should not be allowed. How can staff speak to customers in this manner it doesn’t reflect good on the company. Lidi is a very fast expanding company and should not allow staff like this woman to represent them. The attitude of this lady was so negative i don’t want to shop in there ever again. Back in my day if people spoke to customers like that they would of been sacked there and then on the spot no questions asked.it made my blood boil and i have worked with children before so i have a very high tolerance, but i couldn’t control myself with this rude and obnoxious woman. Lidi needs to think about the kind of staff they are hiring and understand it reflects badly on the company when one person like this is under trained for her position.

Suggested solution:

very simply ask is this yours madam?
have you paid for this item?
