My complaint:
I bought tickets RIX-DPSDPS-RIX via Kiwi.com.
Kiwi.com sold me a booking RIX-DPS that I was not able to check in for due to mistake in booking(minimum layover time set by Emirates was not taken into consideration).
I found out about this on the day of my flight, when I was not able to check in for my flight. In order not to loose my vacation I bought new tickets to my destination.
When it was time to fly back, I found out that my tickets for flight back DPS-RIX are cancelled, since I did not board the first flight. Kiwi did not inform me about this. They did provide an alternative tickets to get me home (which I believe is an admission of guilt) but since the first flight was delayed, they did not help me any further and I had to buy tickets back to get home.
In result I paid Kiwi 1 900 EUR for original booking, than extra 1 337.16 EUR for my flight to DPS and 2 320.68 EUR for my flight home to RIX. My total loses from extra costs exceed 3000EUR.
I believe that Kiwi.com is a scam, selling impossible booking and not taking any responsibility.
DO NOT BUY TICKETS VIA KIWI.COM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTENCES!
Suggested solution:
They should refund me money for the tickets I bought extra, as well as the losses that occurred due to my travel disruption - extra nights in hotel, extra food etc.
