My complaint:
I have a 2016 Kia Soul and my car has a blown head gasket. I believe it was caused by a pre ignition problem. The car runs rough when I first start it. I reported this when going for service, but apparently no one did anything of found anything about the problem. A blown head gasket can occur if the combustion process is off even slightly thus causing the head gasket to fail. I only drive this car to and from work which is about 2 miles from where I live. I take care of oil changes and any service I have needed. I have had 2 recall services done at the Kia dealership. Currently, my car is at the dealership and it has been there since late February. I was quoted a price of $1883 for repairs. I was called by the service manager and was told there would be an additional $500 charge for grinding, which the dealership does not do. They had to send it out I finally got a loaner car 3 weeks ago, I had to depend on others to get to and from work. This whole process has been a nightmare. All this has caused anguish I am still playing catchup with the pandemic and such. I have made 3 car 3 payments totaling $933 dollars for a car I do not even have. I have also spent money to have the car towed to the dealership
Suggested solution:
I want this matter to be rectified in a fair manner.
