My complaint:
I bought a ticket for my daughter to fly from Grand junction Colorado to Roanoke Virginia for the 22nd of August 2022. On August 13th my daughter Jazmin peek notified me that her sister which she lives in the same household with contracted covid 19. They took a covid test and found out that her sister Trixie was infected. They then called the doctor and the doctor told them to stay home and quarantine themselves for 2 weeks the whole family. They said do not leave the house unless your oxygen levels go below 90 and then seek medical attention at the emergency room. The doctor told them to monitor her oxygen with a oxygen monitor that they got at a local store. I’ve been requested a refund for my daughter’s flight and had to fill out a form. I told them the reason was covid and they wanted to see proof. I had my daughter send me pictures of the covid test that they used and sent it to just flies refund department. The refund department said they needed to go get a PCR-Test at a hospital or doctor’s office. I explained to the refund department that the doctor quarantine the whole household and told them not to leave unless it was an emergency as I stated previously oxygen levels going below 90. After I sent this information to them I have not heard a word from them. Can you help me or what can I do? I also did pay the cancellation protection at $84. The flight was $559.97.
