My complaint:
JCPenney is charging me a $40.00 late fee. They stopped billing me in January and I was not even aware that I owed a balance on this account.
This month they sent me an electronic message telling me to pay $90. immediately, which I did.
I dispute the late charge because they stopped my paper billing and never sent me an electronic bill since January!
Suggested solution:
Do not charge me a late fee when the fault is not mine!
