My complaint:

First I want to start by saying that I have been living here for years. So I thought that I lost my debit card on Saturday 9262020 so I went down to the front desk letting the manager know early, mind you my payment isnt due until Monday Sept. 28, 2020. My credit card is already on file so that they can automatically take the payment from the card on Monday. Knowing that, I never cancelled my card. The system was down the entire weekend so I called 3 times on Monday just to see if it was still down so that I can go to the bank n get the money and each time no answer. Once I got there, I was told that the payment wasnt taken because of an issue with the card. I called the bank and was told that there shouldn’t have been an issue with the card because my uber rides were excepted. I told the manager and she said that it was my bank. Being that it is after 1 I was also charged a late fee. I asked her could I get her the late fee money on the next day because I only took out the money for the room, n she flat out told me no. I asked could I talk to her manager and she said that she will call her on speaker phone. She supposedly called her but never put it on speaker. She explained the situation wrong and told me that the lady was driving n too busy to talk. So I asked for corporate number and she didnt know that number. I told her I wasnt going to report her but the manager I will n asked for the name. She told nd that she would lose her job for just giving me her name. I’ve never been li are paying, had any complaints so all I asked was for another da

Suggested solution:

Not charging me the late fee because I called just to see how much money I needed and there was noone there to answer the phone, not my fault. I'm a loyal guest and I deserve respect or better customer service.
