Holiday Extras complaint: Misleading Voucher

My complaint:

I booked airport parking through Holiday Extras back in January 2020 for May 2020 before the pandemic. Obviously we could not travel and they said as it was a non flex item i bought we would have a voucher instead of a refund. Their email clearly states that the voucher could be use against any future booking with Holiday Extras.
When I recently tried to use my voucher against booking a hotel it was refused and stated that I could not use it against this item. I did a Live Chat and was told that I could only use my voucher against a Parking purchase not any booking as it said in the email. They claim that as it was a non flex i can only use it for the same item i originally purchased. This is not stated in the email.
The hotel I wanted to book was more than what my voucher is and was willing to pay the difference.
Not only am I only allowed to use my voucher for airport parking it is only at a selected airports that I can use it. My local airport of Bristol and Cardiff are not included.

Suggested solution:

Let me use my voucher as they said I could in their email from them and book any item I want.

I have a serious complaint against voucher issue. I tried to use a voucher to pay for a new hotel booking due to them …yes Holiday Extra cancelling the previous one. I was never offered a refund just a voucher that I tried to use alongside another voucher. Anyway it appeared all well on the initial invoice with just £1.99 to pay via my credit card. Which when I did I found out through my credit card they and deducted the whol£120 off my credit card and despite Holiday Extras checkout cart saying voucher had been applied it had not!!… Read more »
