My complaint:

i was due to travel from southampton to faro on saturday 12th June, and i booked to park through you. My husband then tested positive for coronavirus and ended up in hospital along with my 2 year old daughter! The return flights were then cancelled from Faro back to Southampton!! So i cancelled the parking – considering there werent even any flights and this is a airport owned carpark!! I was given a voucher, which was advertised that it could be swapped for a cash refund if i requested it. I have since tried to rebook for Bournemouth airport and have been told i cannot use my voucher for any carpark other than Southampton!! im absolutely furious as i then contacted the customer service to request a cash refund if i cannot use the voucher at the airport of choice and theyve told me they simply cannot do anything about it!

P.s. i have attached my husbands positive covid test to prove that we were given no choice!

Suggested solution:

I want a cash refund so that i can go on to book an airport car park of my own choice! Given the current situation with travel you would expect Holiday Extra's to be a bit more helpful and facilitating, given that i was happy for a voucher initially!!
