My complaint:

I would like to appeal against your decision not to compensate me for the loss of my parcel recently.
According to your staff l spoke to, you refused to compensate on grounds that there was a cream in the box.
According to your terms and conditions, if you are unable to deliver a parcel to an address, you will make 2 further attempts to deliver it and if you are still unable to deliver it, you will return it to the sender’s address.
You claimed that the parcel contained a cream but did not specify the type of cream. I know items like fragrance, aerosols, nail varnish, etc are considered dangerous under the transport legislation and therefore took that into considerable account when l sent the parcel.
I also knew that if the parcel failed to arrive, my rights were protected by the Consumer Rights Acts and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
The parcel was properly packed and labelled in accordance with your packing instructions and your packing guide.
How then could one of the parcels, containing almost the same contents as the one delivered be classified as dangerous and therefore not permitted to be delivered?
I strongly believe that the driver stole the parcel and the company is only trying to cover up.
I will therefore escalate this grievance to the very top if l do not receive the due compensation.

Suggested solution:

Compensation
