My complaint:
on 452023 I attempted to go to the HELLOFRESH website to view their menu. They require credit card information prior to seeing this so I obliged. Immediately after seeing that their menu was gross, I cancelled my account through the HELLOFRESH website, and also called 1-646-846-3663 where I was assured that everything was resolved and I would not be charged as I had already cancelled the service. Fast forward to 472023 and I get a random email from PayPal saying HELLOFRESH has taken $71.84 from me. Today after seeing this charge, I contact HELLOFRESH who the first time hung up on me, and the second time said they will file a ticket for a supervisor. These are extremely shady business practices and unethical at best. I do not, nor did authorize any payment to HELLOFRESH. I did not select or order any services nor received any.
Suggested solution:
I need a full refund in the amount I was unethically charged - $71.84.
