My complaint:

My husband bought a bag for me in 2019 in Rome, Italy. Did not use bag on trip, came home, Pandemic hit. My bag has literally sat in it’s cloth bag for two years. This is a crossbody bag which I wanted so when we travel. Last year we went to Italy and I took the bag. Two days into our travels I noticed the piping was coming undone. Luckily I had another bag and stopped using this one. Due to Covid cases still around we delayed going into any retail shops. Last Saturday we went to the Boca Raton Gucci store. We should them the bag and they stated it would be sent for repair. Yesterday we receive a TEXT message from the manager stating it would cost $100.00 for the repair. I could not believe due to craftsmanship and nothing that I have done to cause they still want me to pay to have it repaired. The handbag is literally brand new. I will never ever purchase another Gucci product and will let everyone else know our experience to stay away from this store and this brand.Not only are they not taking responsibility, They Fed ex the handbag back to me.I am so appalled at this company’s treatment to their customers.

Suggested solution:

Repair fee should be waived and my handbag needs to be in the condition I purchased it as.
