My complaint:
I gave the wrong address by mistake – W 801 Niles Street vs. 801 Niles Street. I also missed the call from the driver. However, In my instructions on the delivery, I stated that the food was to be delivered to our Boys Girls Club reception area. Once grubhub send me a message that the driver could not locate me… I tried calling the driver, but she didn’t answer the 5 times I called within the delivery time frame. She sent me a text and photo that she left my sandwiches at a junk yard by a white truck. The business was obviously closed and not the reception area for a Boys Girls Club. I acknowledged that the address was incorrect, but that my instructions were not. I think it was terrible customer service to leave sandwiches at a location that obviously was not correct in 100 degree heat and instead of at least saying, Im sorry, but you gave the wrong address and I didn’t read the instructions for delivery. I basically got, I delivered to the address you left and its your error.
Suggested solution:
I want a refund and I want the driver to be reminded of customer service and good judgment. I also want my tip back.
