Geek Squad complaint: Online geek squad tech damaged software and widows 10 had to be restored, lost everything

My complaint:

Online tech corrupted our desktop system. I was on the phone 7 hrs on the day this all happened. Tech number 3 said it was tech 1 who damaged our system. I asked for a tune up plain and simple. The first rep was on the computer less than 10 minutes, then he restarted the computer and left!! I told them specifically do not touch the Office Picture manager program it is my Wife’s life line to her business. Several years ago a geek squad tech deleted it, so I always say do not touch this program before any tune up is done. I called back for hours and spoke to several other techs and the result was the same. on the computer for 10-15 minutes then restart computer and never come back.

The 3rd tech said the previous tech corrupted the system. Got an appointment at the store in Tucson Az off of Irvington. Dropped it off last Saturday and will pick it up tomorrow. They did a tune up and found all the problems. Lost all our software programs including my wife’s photo editing program. Now we have to pay for Microsoft Word and a new photo editing program.

I am sure you can trace all the calls I made. My phone number is 520-625-9625. We have been using your service for almost 20 years. I know we are not the only ones dealing with these issues.

I should not be the one paying for a new Word program or the editing software. Please get in touch with me and let me know how you will resolve this issue for us.
