My complaint:
I took it in on October 25 th after i uninstalled a program for some reason when i restarted it did not boot i tried all the recovery and back up disc both made and purchased nothing worked I called dell tech support to which i also have a paid tech support as well as geek squad. Dell tried they could not because it would not boot so they could not remote. From October 25 th to 20 days later no correspondence from geek squad nothing i was told nothing. I finally had to walk in and talk to the tech who told me that there are only 2 techs at that store. One was on a leave so that left this tech to do the counter and repairs. I asked why they would not hire more he said best buy will not. They are telling me they can not repair or back up the data can not get it to boot as of yesterday 1117. They gave a few choices which are unacceptable I can pay anywhere from 500.00 to 1,5 hundred for them to send it somewhere were thy may now i said may be able to back up the data or put in a new hard drive which i again have to pay for and reinstall the operation system so i lose thieving i had and i have no way to back up i will lose close to 9000 yes that is correct 9000 photos. I being getting the run around from all concerned best buy Geek squad and corporate. If they would wave the 500 dollars and send it and see if they can do it then id be a happy customer but i supposed they do it for me they do it for everybody but who has to know any way i am so disillusioned and un happy with best buy and geek squad i have filed a complaint with you with best buy pissed off customer the BBB and best buy complaint dept .
Suggested solution:
either try to fix it waive the 500 dollars or try and find a way to boot it upo and get the data hire more experienced tech
