My complaint:
A twenty dollar bill was taken from me with barely an explanation. I was told it was a fake, but received multiple, vague reasons from the cashier and manager. One said “It just look different” and the other said it had a water smudge. The bill looked completely normal. I 100% believe these two are scamming people. They should be fired. People shouldn’t have to worry about this happening at their local grocery store. Completely unacceptable!!
Suggested solution:
Fire these two employees and inform the law. They stole from me and probably many other customers. I did ask the manager if I could photograph the bills but for some reason the photo will not upload. I’d be happy to share it with whoever. If is truly a fake, I would merely have appreciated a comprehensive explanation.
