My complaint:
Tracking ID indicates that package (an 8 ft folding table…a large package) was delivered on Tuesday, 62822 @ 12:38pm.
No such package was delivered.
On Thursday, 62922, I approached FedEx Ground Driver who was delivering another large package to me. He admitted that he was the individual on this route on Tuesday, but could not commit to remembering delivering such a package to this home.
When I submitted inquiry to FedEx with the tacking number, the computer asked the street number. When that was given by me, the computer indicated that that number did not match the tracking ID. So in my mind… it was delivered to a different address. I contacted Amazon…who only had acomputer chatline…and they referred the complaint to the seller,and asked me to wait 48 hours for a response.
Seller evenutally has said that the package was lost after delivery, and they have no more in stock, so they can not ship me another.. They will refund me…in 4-5 business days. It is now 71….4 to 5 business days brings be to 78 or 79.
I ordered on 62222, for a bridal shower to be held on 71722. I have already ordered linen to fit a 8 ft table.
So now….I have to spend more momey…and more time searching for another 8 ft table.
Why is FedEx invisible in this entire scene? Where is there human contact? Where is their responsibility? Why is the seller the only one to communicate with me?
It is the local FedEx center, and the driver that last touched the package….How do they simple remain invisible, and hold no responsibility in this?

I think I should be contacted by someone in FedEx and told how they follow through on situations like this.
If I am expected to contact ALL my neighbors to see if they got the package, then I think Fed Ex should have the ability to back track that delivery truck's route that day.
The package was delivered somewhere...Where is it?
