My complaint:
My 18yo daughter who visits the store frequently was approached by the manager and asked to follow him to a back room where he asked and wanted to see if she was the girl caught on camera who the manager apparently believes has stolen from this location. My daughter was so scared because he didn’t tell her why he asked her to come to the back until they were in the back room.Turns out it wasn’t my daughter poor judgement on his behalf and how could he be so sure to feel the need to ask my daughter when she was wearing a mask. My daughter called me crying and I went to the location and asked him why he wrongfully profiled my daughter and how obviously he was wrong for doing so.
Suggested solution:
I don't think he should have never approached my daughter. If he truly believed my daughter fit the profile of the suspected thief he should have contacted the police. Instead he took it upon himself.
