My complaint:
Since November 2023 I have stopped receiving any delivery at all sent via Hermes / Evri. I am now at 14 deliveries over 5 months sent via Evri, which Evri haven’t even attempted a single delivery.
Instead, my items make their way to the Southampton Evri depot and they are then automatically sent back to the sender without ever being put out for delivery. It’s like there is a block on my address or someone inside Evri has done something to cause this.
This is so far beyond an awful service, it’s had a really negative impact on our lives because some of these items were really very important. I have also lost a significant amount of money due to this ongoing nightmare.
I have tried for months to speak to an actual human being about this ongoing disaster, only succeeding twice. Each time the Evri representative said that there was obviously a serious IT issue with the depot and that they were going to speak with the depot and launch an investigation. Which was obviously not true. They ignore emails, they are unreachable online and they have no phone number to speak to an actual human being.
Absolutely nothing has happened and still, 5 months later, every single item sent via Evri is turned around at the depot and not even put out for delivery. There is never any reason stated in the app and the ‘Ezra’ help bot is absolutely useless.
I am at the end of my tether with this company and it’s complete lack of ability to deliver a single item or even communicate clearly with its customers and clients.
All they need to do is to listen to the issue and help find the problem. Why is this so difficult? I’ll be writing to the CEO directly.
Suggested solution:
Contact me directly and discuss the issue they have. Find out why they are unable to get any item out of their local depot onto a van to my address. Every other delivery company delivers on time every day to my address.
