My complaint:

1) Booked a drop off at an Evri drop off point. Shopkeeper stated the package was too big (not true, it was within the size limits) and refused to accept it.
2) Booked a collection. Email ed booking and stated that an email would be sent the day of collection to state about what time (12 hour window!!!). No email received. No one showed up to collect.
3) Booked another collection. No email stating approximate collection time arrived as promised. Was outside in rear garden for just a few minutes – saw someone in front garden who stated he had rung and knocked. He had already left a ‘not collected’ card and so could now NOT take the package.
4) Now booking a fourth try! Why don’t they advise the approximate collection time as they state they will? Or text ? They insist on having my mobile number.

Terrible service. Chat bot is useless. Feel sorry for the collection guys, they are stuck in a very poorly run system.

Suggested solution:

Just 1) send email stating approx time as promised in the email:
Next steps
1) Package your return securely. If applicable, remember to put your original XXX invoice inside the parcel. I DID THIS.

2) Print the label and attach it securely to the parcel covering any existing labels. I DID THIS.

3) We’ll collect your parcel on 2025-0x-xx. We’ll send you an email with an estimated collection time on this day. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN.

We’ll send you an email ing your collection. You can track your return with the tracking number in that email. Please allow 5 working days for your parcel to be returned.
