My complaint:

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding eBay’s lack of transparency, assistance, and unfair practices. I have been a committed participant in the eBay community for many years, and I have always upheld the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. However, on August 17, 2023, my seller account (ga9579) was permanently suspended without explanation.

I have repeatedly contacted eBay’s customer support to inquire about the reason for my account suspension, but I have received no clear answers. The customer support representatives have been uninformative and unhelpful, and they have not addressed my specific concerns. This lack of transparency and assistance has left me in a state of bewilderment, and it has had a significant negative impact on my financial stability and my family’s well-being.

I want to emphasize that I have uncontestable evidence validating the authenticity of every document I submitted to eBay, including invoices, identification records, and pertinent business information. I am confident that I have not violated any of eBay’s policies, and I am committed to resolving this matter.

I believe that my account suspension was the result of a complaint made by a high-ranking seller on eBay. This seller, who has over 36,000 feedback ratings, is specifically a Lenovo laptop dealer. I believe that this seller made a complaint about my competitive pricing, and that eBay took action against me in order to favor the interests of this larger seller.

This incident raises serious questions about eBay’s commitment to fostering a level playing field for all sellers. I am concerned that eBay is operating as a cartel, giving undue influence to larger sellers and discriminating against smaller sellers like myself.

I am now turning to the Office of Policy and Coordination to formally request an inquiry into this matter and to demand fair treatment. I believe that eBay’s actions have been unfair and discriminatory, and I am confident that an independent investigation will support my claims.

I have attached to this letter pertinent documents, past correspondences, and evidence showcasing my attempts to engage with eBay’s customer support. I implore the Office of Policy and Coordination to initiate an independent investigation into this situation, and to compel eBay to provide the required assistance, transparency, and an impartial resolution to my case.
