My complaint:
This person, Candace should not be dealing with the public. She reads off of a script, is rude and does not listen to the person on the other end of the phone. She is awful. She should be put on administrative duty. She is probably a good administrator but an awful customer service person and supervisor. She is like a robot and does not stray from her script. Completely ignores questions and concerns. I’m usually calm and enjoy nice conversations with Duke employees but towards the end of my conversation with her I felt very irate.
Suggested solution:
I would like to speak to a human being to resolve my issue. Not a condescending robot who doesn’t care about customers. Or put her through customer service and empathy training. I have worked with the public my whole life and would never speak to someone in the manner that she spoke to me. Total i difference. I don’t think she listened to one word I said. I am sure she was pulling the phone away from her ear each time I attempted to speak as there were very long pauses in between my speaking and her reacting and then she would speak without addressing my concern and basically tell me to be quiet
