My complaint:
In Nov, 2020 we purchased 15 new energy efficient hurricane windows(WHOLE HOUSE) from a company called HOME PERFORMANCE ALLIANCE.The cost was $25000.We were told that duke would give us a $1000 CREDIT. The windows were inspected by the city of largo on FEB 23,2021(PERMITBCP2012-0241).
At that time we received all the figures on the windows and we contacted duke energy. They asked us for a copy of an energy audit.we had no idea we needed one.they said unless the audit was done a month before install we were denied. I was told you could do this audit on line in under 30 minutes. This is a raw deal and duke is adamant.we have all the paperwork.they tell you to be energy efficient and then they screw you.
Suggested solution:
GIVE US THE CREDIT THAT WE ARE DUE.
