My complaint:

Hello –
I opened an account with Duke Energy Progress in September 2021 and was required to pay $150 deposit (note: I had an account with Duke Energy for more than one year with no late pays AND have a credit score over 800, but was deemed a credit risk?). Anyway, I met all of the requirements to receive my refund, but have not. I have spoken with SIX people. Each one has provided a different answer as to when I will receive my refund, yet nothing has happened. I’ve been told after 12 months, after 13 months, that there’s a new system, blah, blah, blah. I’ve had two cases opened and no resolution. I keep being told there’s a process to follow. It seems there is a process that Duke Energy Progress follows to keep innocent, hard working people’s money, hoping they will give up. I’m not going to give up. Oh, and here are the case numbers: 1009193951 and 1009728496.

By giving me my money plus interest TODAY.
