Duke Energy complaint: High charges with out providing details

My complaint:

I had contacted a customer support representative about saving money on my Duke Energy account because Duke Energy had kept enrolling me into a third party electric company with out my acknowledgement. The rep stated it will help me save money vs over payment every month . Fast forward my bill was between $50-$100.00 every month my payment has double since she has put me on budget billing without providing details.

I have departed from the unit on May 22nd and had returned my keys to the apartment on the June 1st 2021 they have applied a additional month on my account. Had spoken to a Duke Energy Manager Who stated i should of never been enrolled in budget bill as i had no issues paying bill on time. Current actual charge is actually currently under $20 bucks but they want almost $300.00 shame on Duke Energy

Suggested solution:

I would like them to revert the charges base on actual amount used since I should of never been enrolled into the program.
