My complaint:
Dec 23rd 24th, 2022 Duke energy charged our office exhorbantly high energy costs without explanation. On the days in queston, our office was closed. With the office closed, and given that this chargeusage was anonolous and has not evr spoiked that high since we’ve been in the offcie since 2018, we called to discpute the charge. We got the run around and essentially were told that here is no discpute process and just pay the bill. Unacceptable from Duke energy. We dont have a problem in paying a bill but weherre there is an anomoly like this, we do expect an answer beyond trust us, it’s right.
Suggested solution:
Explain the anomoly given that Duke has overcharged customers as recently at Sept 2022 in Tampa Bay for issues like this.
