My complaint:

I hope this concern finds you well. I am writing to bring a pressing issue to your attention, which has been causing significant distress to me and my family for the past three years.

It appears that the Department of Solid Waste (DSW) has been regularly using my front lawn as a collection point for garbage bins. The situation has worsened over time, resulting in not only an eyesore but also a severe health hazard that cannot be overlooked or tolerated any further.

The bin bags left on my property are often torn, causing an unsightly mess with scattered dirt, infestation of maggots, animal feces, dead rodents, and other toxic waste, including medical waste. This situation has become a serious concern to the wellbeing of my family, and it is simply unacceptable that I am expected to bear the burden of cleaning up this hazardous mess continually.

The foul stench emanating from the garbage enters both our yard and our home, creating an extremely uncomfortable environment, especially when we have visitors over. This issue has become a source of great embarrassment and an infringement on our right to enjoy a clean and healthy living space.

I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. It is imperative that the DSW refrains from using my property as a collection point for garbage bins. I propose two viable solutions to rectify this ongoing problem. Firstly, the garbage bags could be placed in an area that is not near my home, ensuring that the odor and health risks remain at a distance. Alternatively, each bin bag could be left at the respective homes for collection, eliminating the need for a central collection point altogether.

I want to emphasize that I can no longer take responsibility for cleaning up this health hazard. Moreover, I am uncertain about how to properly dispose of the garbage that is left scattered due to the torn bags.

Suggested solution:

I think this needs to be resolved by dsw. Dsw should give me a resolution.
