My complaint:
29112022 : I sent a Parcel via DPD to myself living in Dublin Ireland from Hyderabad-India
DPD Tracking Number for Ireland: 02655043537227
9122022:
As per Parcel tracking in dpd.ie the Parcel was reported as damaged by DPD Dublin and they intiated a return on the same day. (This was not even discussed or informed to me)
At the same time, the DPD in india(Original sender) on followup said on phone call that DPD in Dublin will deliver the parcel and they have already attempted the delivery once (misinformation) and they ed that wait for a couple of days as they have requested the delivery of parcel again.
on 14122022 :
I got connected to cutomer service for DPD Ireland (353 906420500 )
They clarified that Parcel was reported as damaged and they sent it back and have never attemped a delivery. Also the parcel is not in dublin anymore , its now in Germany.

1. This reference number is not traceble online (online DPD cutomer service can see any information against it , I called them each time and they said same thing)
2. They also ed on call that they have intitated a DPD insurance for this parcel , which means once the parcel is sent back to Hyderabad ,India than this can be sent with fresh packing again and DPD will bear the cost.
3. Meanwhile DPD India customer service on calls were still not accepting that returns have been intitated by DPD Ireland.
1512 1612 2012 :
I continued following up on calls (refer call record screenshot) and there was nofurther update except that they have sent the parcel back to sender (india DPD) and it will arrive late given chrismas holidys
on 2012 :
DPD ireland asked to wait for the another week due to chrismas holidays.
DPD india also said that due to chrismas break the shippments are not being done (strange respnse)
I again waited till 2nd jan and followed up : nobody answered as it was bank holiday on Ireland.
03012023:
I called DPD ireland and they mentioned that Parcel is sent to Germany and they can’t track anything after that and asked me to reach out to DPD Germany and followup from there.
DPD ireland gave me these 2 tracking numbers and said the parcel is in Hamburg and they do not know anything else :

DPD Inda at this stage also do not know where my Parcel is.
As of 04012023.
I only have reference tracking number provided by
DPD india , Ireland and germany and no update where my parcel is, whne will is received it .
THE DPD doesn’t coordinate among their own offices Globally and ask the customer to contact individual country office which is not fair practice as I sent parcel from DPD india to Dublin (its DPD sole responsibility to track and ensure the parcel is delivered to final desination) (it should not ask cusomter to call each port of entry where they ship the parcel.)
The DPD cutomer care is also not helpful as when asked to escalte this issue, they don’t do anything have asked me to call DPD india or DPD germany.

DPD should resolve this issue asap:
Suggested solution:
Prioirty 1 : DPD should track my parcel and ensure it should be delivered to Hyderabad,india as soon as possible. DPD should intiate refund for the service cost and also for the damage incurred,all the items that are dmaanged in the parcel and send my revised parcel.
Failure to do so:
DPD should iniatiate the refund for my parcel and also refund the service cost at the earliest with an aplogy of how they treated me and also for the experience they provided with their service.
