My complaint:
On March 3, 2020, my Direct Express account was taken for $796.00. That is my benefit money from disability. A number of unauthorized transactions were made on Google. I called Direct Express and I was told that they would send me a packet of information to fill out. I never received that packet. Now, every time I call I can never get a person on the phone. EVERY TIME I CALL. It has been 2 years and I still can get no help with this theft. I don’t know who to call or where to go for help. But this is not right!! I am disabled and the money that I receive is the ONLY money that I get. They have thrown me to the wolves and don’t even care that I struggle and I have a little boy to take care of.
Suggested solution:
They should replace the money that was taken from me. Upon investigation, they will no doubt find that my entire $796.00 was stolen, my card was hacked. They should show some kind of compassion.
Please tell me that you left DE and have anything else. Green Dot, Netspend,and PayPal are ALL more honest than DE and I can stomach all four of them
