Direct Express complaint: I was frauded and my account cleaned of $300.00

My complaint:

In Sept. there were three days of fraudulent charges I never made or authorized on my account. It took me 3 days to get through to an agent.

I reported the problem and requested a new card and filled out dispute paperwork I was sent.

My account was never credited and I received a letter Nov. 5 that is
basically stating there was no wrong doing and only I could have authorized $330.00 in charges.

I am disabled and SSI is my only income. Why on earth would I spend that kind of money on Google games I never heard of?This has caused hardship and I wrote to the treasury dept that seems to be in charge of Direct Express.

I no longer have my benefits deposited with them. They are allowing fraud and letting people get ripped off. You can never reach anyone there and when you do, they don’t help. I am thoroughly disgusted how disabled and seniors are treated.

Suggested solution:

Reimburse the $330.00 that was stolen from my account
