My complaint:
I went to A Sober living Facility. March17,2021. When I was registered in the facility takes up your phone all your cash and all your debit cards Being my Direct Express card.fir the first thirty days . April the 1st 2021. The facility took my card to atm and withdrew 330.00 for half my rent . I did not know that I was getting a stimulus check . I’m thinking around May 8 ,2021 . I checked my balance And was wiped out of 1600.00 that would be The 1400.00 stimulus check and 200 gone from my regular acct. I have Direct express app on my phone and got my phone out of safe and looked at all the charges From. Amazon Apple.com. keep in mind I still have no access to my Card or anything. . Called Direct Express and filed a paperwork to file within 10 days . Well I did that And maybe on the 8th day I called Direct express And I was told that I did not qualify for the provisional credit. Due to discrepancy on my part saying when they took rent off he said. Because I did not turn around and tell the lady To not use it again. Well if I knew she was going to steal my money I would not have let her go get rent off. Common sense. Yes I have 2 Police reports Direct express has all my paper including Police report. . And I’ve NEVER HAD A AMAZON OR APPLE .COM ACCT. YES I CONTACTED THEM ALSO BUT WAS ONLY TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHERE THE AMAZON ITS A SECURITY BREACH

Direct express is a FDIC insured bank. I'm 52 I'm on a fixed income And Was not expected to get Robbed while trying to get my life together after my mom passed I' had No money at all fir several months Due to people helping me and paying back to ones that helps me . I want my money and several of months to go with what . I did what I was suppose to do. .. i followed the chain of command. And expect Direct express to do same
