My complaint:
I sent a package for $450 that was packaged by the DHL employee based on “acceptable battery limits “ Two laptops and two phones were shipped from Boston to Cypress. First delay was a need to have an ein number, which I was not asked at the DHL store. $250 later it’s on its way and lands in UK- on hold . Takes 5 days to find out it was not typical security. Now sitting in dangerous goods because UK does not allow 4 lithium batteries in a package. Don’t a week in the phone for hours to UK, Us DHL. No one seems to follow up, read the notes or have a clue how to get the package released. I was offered to pick up the package in the UK????
Suggested solution:
US DHL needs to provide prepaid to UK DHK to procure a 3rd party to “repack” the items into 2 boxes. Because I am an individual I do not have an account for prepayment. I call UK and get the info, but US will not call only email so it takes days for I do to be communicated. I see no resolution in sight
