Date of Purchase: 23-01-2023 / Date of delivery: 27-01-2023
Dear Decathlon, My Name is Sachin, I bought the cycle from you guys for one simple reason- it will be highly durable!. – which has proven terribly wrong in my case.
I have been facing an extremely difficult situation riding this bike for the last 3 months. Although I ride the minimum on some days, I am extremely unhappy as the chain keeps on falling every now and then.
for your information: i follow the best practice to clean the chain and lube the chain with utmost premium cleaning and lubing products.
I went to Mysore’s decathlon stores about two months ago, they adjusted in front of me and gave the cycle saying this problem is there in 1-10 gear ratio cycle and said to come next month we do a service.
Then the problem continued and I was frustrated. and when I went again, they said to do the warranty service as it’s not even 6months.
warranty service happened 10-15 days ago and now after warranty, the problem doubled up and i am seriously unable to ride. Because after service i don’t know what happened, the cycle is hopeless to ride. Then when I went, they said, the senior technician shall check in two days and we shall fix it. Now, they say, all parts to be replaced like, crank set(2500), chainset (2000), cassette (2500) and derailleur(1000).
it is not even 6months of my purchase, and is this what you call durability?
What kind of cycle is this?
any defective product is being sold to me?
when the store person only said it’s common in the 1-10 gear ratio cycle, why do you sell this product when you know this problem.
I bought this product with my hard earned savings to have good health while riding it. Now, I’ve been fooled and scammed.
Am extremely unhappy with this product and i seriously not happy with the product.
Kindly exchange this product to a normal 2 to 7 or any other good cycle. i’am seriously unhappy with it.
I have mailed this to care.india@decathlon.com on 19-07-2023. No one responded yet and there’s a hopeless service by decathlon support.
i’m feeling extremely bad for making a buy @ decathlon. What you people say and what you do sell doesn’t make sense.
