My complaint:
I am a repeat customer of CVS pharmacy but I cannot deal with them anymore. It takes forever to get a prescription filled compared to other pharmacies and they are rude at times. Other pharmacies acknowledge you as soon as you come to the counter or window, but not CVS. They finish what they are doing which may include talking. The last time, I submitted my order onlline before the store opened in the morning. I sent my husband to the store at 2 pm thinking they would fill it if he came in. They said it would be an hour even if he waited on top of the 5 hours or more we had already waited. He said OK, I will wait. She then repeated it would be an hour in a snooty tone like she was trying to get rid of him. In addition, don’t even try to call them. If you are lucky enough to get an answer, it likely will take at least 30 minutes. They don’t even answer the phone at times. It is almost 3 and I still don’t have my prescription. That is unacceptable and I have never experienced that even at the busier pharmacies including Walgreens. An individual who works there said it is because corporate does not provide enough help. There is not a place to file a complaint on their website at least that is not easy to find. This is not considerate of people’s time AT ALL and if it truly is the reason why their service is so subpar, get them some help. I will be transferring my prescriptions as soon as I can get someone on the phone if ever.
Suggested solution:
They should acknowledge customers when they come in. They should answer the phone within a reasonable timeframe. They should fill the prescriptions within 2 hours unless you are waiting, you should get priority and it should be filled within 30 minutes.
