My complaint:
We have a legal contract showing we paid 6 months rent with occupancy beginning January 1,2021 through June 2021 a check with January- June written on it. The storage space was owned at that time by CFM StorageLLC. Cube Smart has taken over this storage space and because the check was dated on December 10, 2020, they claim we owe rent starting June 10th. We know we are paid through June 30. Cube Smart cannot takeover a facility and disregard the agreements already in place. They should honor this legal agreement. If this facility wants all payments due on a certain date such as the tenth of the month, we will happily write a check for July10-August 10 a small amount for the first 10 days of July. Do not ask us to pay for the remaining 20 days in June. We’ve already paid that.
