CubeSmart complaint: Damaged gate leaving RVs and storage facility unsecure

My complaint:

Sir or ma’am,

When I started my cubesmart storage, I was very excited to know I could have peace of mind that my unit was behind a lock and key. For the last week, I’ve been driving by the facility to check in my RV due to the gate being open 24 hours a day. My RV is one of the first vehicles at the gate.

It is really upsetting that this gate issue has not been resolved, however, I’m still paying almost $200 a month for your service. Please fix the gate now or post 24 hour security as this is what we are paying for.

I’m a combat veteran and this unsecured gate has driven my anxiety through the roof. It’s difficult for me to sleep at night knowing the precious dollars I have saved up to buy my RV could be gone to waste at any moment by anyone who feels they want to break in my unit.

Suggested solution:

Fix the gate immediately or post 24 hour security to protect all our valuables
