My complaint:

We stored our sons belongings at Cube Smart in May….we went there today, August 4 to clean out the climate controlled unit. Our movers could only fill the truck half full due to bee and hornet nests on top of the mattresses. The movers refused to go inside the unit any further. The owner gave us a can of bee and hornet spray….really? They expected us to use that in a 1020 storage unit??? The movers left with a truck half full, costing us over $1300. The balance of contents still remain in the unit. The owner said the bees and hornets are a part of nature! Really? We didn’t store our belongings in a tent, we stored them in a climate controlled storage unit. Later is afternoon, they called and said they needed the lock to get in to have the exterminators fumigate the unit. Then they called back and said they were there, broke the lock and everything is fine for us to return and claim our belongings along with a new lock and keys. Why didn’t they call the exterminator while our movers were there? Then we wouldn’t have to hire movers AGAIN at an additional cost of $1300.
They said they can’t control everyones schedule. So now we have to hire movers again….all because we couldn’t get the belongings out of a climate controlled unit due to bees and hornets. Is this my problem? I don’t think so. I think we’re entitled to some compensation for this mess that we had to endure and for any further cost that we will incur to move our belongings out again. This is unacceptable….something is totally wrong here. You’re suppose to have an award for great customer service…this is NOT great customer service and I demand some sort of compensation. And don’t offer us another storage unit….we are DONE with this Cube Smart storage unit.

Suggested solution:

They should resolve our complaint by compensating us so that we can hire another mover to move the balance of our belongings out of the cube.
