My complaint:
I have been buying cryptocurrency from crypto.com for a few months. I never traded, nor cashed out, I only bought crypto. On 71521, I received an email stating, your account has been terminated due to a breach of our terms and conditions. Their customer service refused to tell me what terms and conditions I violated. Further, they told me they would NOT refund the money in my account. The only thing that was different was, the day before my account was terminated; I tried to buy crypto. The transaction didn’t go through on their end (i didn’t get credited for the crypto i bought). My bank showed the transaction was pending. I contacted Crypto.com’s customer service. I was told to cancel the dispute with my bank. I initiated a dispute to stop the transaction. Less than an hour later, I made the same purchase. It went through. This is the only thing, I can think of that I did that might have violated their termsconditions. I truly don’t know what the issue was. I threw out canceling the transaction as a possible issue, because other than that; I only bought crypto from them. I’m still baffled as to their terminating my account.
Suggested solution:
Refund my money.

Seems they are using the violation of terms as a way to steal our money.
I had the same exact situation done to me a week ago. Their customer service is as good as crap. How’s that someone, whom you entrusted your money with, out of the blue come up with this kind of BS. “You violated the terms of service and we had to shut down your account, we cannot give you any more info, and you cannot get aa refund” WTF!
