Circle K complaint: Refusal to honor advertised discount and rudely told me “to get out “.

My complaint:

At 10 am on October 1st, I asked to buy 5 cans of Grizzly smokeless tobacco (from a black female cashier), which is clearly advertised “Save
$2.50 when you buy 2 or more cans. She rang up the whole roll which does not
give discount without
entering your
phone . I told her I didn’t want to give out my number
and to please ring them up
individually so it would automatically give the discount. I know this because
I buy a whole roll there
every 2 or 3 days. It doesn’t say anywhere that you only get a discount when you
enter your phone . She said if I wanted it I would have to enter it. I said again that I didn’t want to do that and
she told me very rudely
(When I asked her again to ring them up individually) “ I ain’t doing that”.
I spend hundreds of dollars every month there buying dip,gas,and drinks. If she continues to be employed
there I promise I will take my
business elsewhere. I didn’t see a name tag on her to see her name, but I’m certain it
wouldn’t be hard for you to
find out. That discount saves me 30 to $40 every month which helps when your on a
fixed income. There were at
least 5 or 6 other customers behind me and I am furious about how rude she was to
me and telling me to “” get
out” in front of all of those people.
Please contact me and I
would appreciate a one on
one meeting with a member of management about this.

Suggested solution:

At the very least a public apology
But I would rather not have to see her at all if I go there to buy something. I can stop at another store that is closer to me and pay $1 less for a roll if I don’t get that discount (And they are much nicer).
Every other cashier at that Circle K hasn’t had any kind of problem ringing them up one at a time.
If this is the type of employee’s you want on your team, I will pay more elsewhere if I have to.
