My complaint:

Claim was denied for electrical repair to AC, technician that came out to review the issue stated that this would be covered, and he would file the claim. I live in Fl and have now gone 2 weeks without air conditioning for the upstairs. The reason changed 3 times after escalating the denial, first it was wear and tear then I sent them the def from the state. Then it was because it needed new wiring, then it changed to this is an upgrade. The fuses are blowing due to an electrical problem the technician stated that this can cause a fire and burn up the entire unit. I have a maintenance plan with an AC company, so this issue is not due to neglect. The resolution rep even tried to get this overturned, but they wouldn’t do it. This seems to be a common theme when reviewing online complaints with this company.

Suggested solution:

This should be repaired as stated by the technician that came out, this is not an upgrade it is a repair of a broken that occurred.
