CarShield complaint: loyal customer over 3 years never put in claim denied the first one i put in

My complaint:

i’ve had the platinum.plan from car should now for close to 3 years for my 2006 Ford 500… I have NEVER ever put in a claim… i was told that the car needed a new fuel pump due to the age of the vehicle and a slight corrosion. car shield is saying they deny claim due to the word corrosion. I even called them prior and was told no problem, you should be good to go and it should be covered, no problem well that was not true. It is not unreasonable that a 2006 vehicle as discussed orig. with carshield would have some corrosion etc. they told me don’t worry… well now they deny the $590 claim?? so I paid over $4000 for what? I request a callback from an official at the company… otherwise besides BBB I will be forced to take further actions including a blast to every newspaper in New york explaining what I am going through with car shield. I really feel this is like a bait and switch and the semantics of what is and is not covered then is always going to be a denial for an older car will always have something to do with a slight corrosion.
