My complaint:
My backup camera on 2016 Fusion failed. Car Shield wants to replace it with a Refurb or after market part. Ford can only install certified new parts so Car Shield will not pay full cost of replacement part. Total cost consisting of my $100 deductible, taxes and other fees including the difference in what they will cover versus new part cost is $382 to me ! They will do whatever they can to pass charges to client. Don’t believe the BS they spew in their commercials. You’re better off banking the monthly premium you would pay them and using it to cover repairs
