My complaint:
I booked a ferry return ticket on 2122019, Portsmouth to St. Malo. I then cancelled it due to personal reasons. I did not receive a refund at this point.
then came Covid and lockdown, and now I have a new booking from Plymouth to Santander . This is IS91260 Name Barbara VIndenes. When I asked for the refund the phone operator explained that the time had expired for reclaiming the refund.
I am not satisfied with this. My husband is 91, I am 84, we have waited to go to Spain again until all our Covid vaccinations and boosters have been completed. Basically, Britany Ferries has sat on this money, as a loan! Then refused to let me have it in the form of a new booking.
Suggested solution:
By refunding me the money. This is about £475.
