I booked through Booking.com for a room at Holiday Inn Expressin Meridian MS. I was told by Booking.com there would be a room available for us. When we got to the hotel reception told us they had no rooms available. They also said that Booking.com has a problem with sending people to their hotel telling them a room is available when there is none.
We ended up going across the street to the LaQuinta to stay there for the night.
I have received my credit card summary and I have been charged by Booking.com for a service fee and a room that was not even available for me.
This was on March 20,2021 – service fee $14.99. Room charge $129.85.

I want the total charges taken off of my credit card - $144.84. I should not have been charged for a service that was not available to me.
