My complaint:
Booked a business stay once in rooms they were filthy, mold all over bathrooms, just plain nasty. Contacted booking about cancelling after two days out of 12 booked. Received email that the Hotel has agreed. 6 weeks later no refund of over $2,200.00 and Booking.com customer service sends me two sentences from hotel saying they dont know what the problem is. They have issued credit.
Money has not been credited to my account and from the last Email received Booking.com has no intention of assisting me further.
Suggested solution:
One of their customer service reps said the policy if no refund after five days of my contacting them, Booking would refund directly and deal with the hotel on their own.
They have the credit card number refund the $2,265.59 immediately.
