Big Easy complaint: Terrible service and discrimination

My complaint:

Very very mediocre. The happy hour is great but only expect good service if you are a man, and even more so a white man. Second time coming here as we’re local to the area and as a group of black women we just weren’t treated warmly. We weren’t ushered to our table. Very curt and condescending attitude from the waiting staff. Food came cold even when they weren’t busy. Complained about the fact my cornbread muffin was actually burnt and dry and the waiter told me it was fine and initially refused to take it back. When a replacement was brought, which was stone cold the manager rolled his eyes and cut me off when I was speaking. This is just one example of the terrible service we received. Maybe they thought we were only coming for the happy hour and wouldn’t be spending money on food so they didn’t want to accommodate us? On both occasions we’ve complained to the manager and nothing has been done. The managers have been very blasé about our complaints. A real shame. The quality of service is poor as is the quality of the food. Not as good as it used to be. Maybe something to blame on covid? Probably closer to arrogance on managements part. I’ll be complaining formally as twice, is two times too many to be treated so badly for no reason.
